A performance menu players actually understand.
Echo Booster puts seventeen real performance optimisations into one clean, easy-to-use interface, giving players control over the settings that actually affect their FPS — without forcing them to dig through configuration files or restart their game.
Four ready-to-use presets, adaptive performance mode, a real before/after benchmark, an on-screen FPS counter, per-player profiles, and fully configurable optimisation settings make Echo Booster a complete client-side performance solution for FiveM.
Most "FPS boosters" throw a collection of toggles at players and claim massive gains without actually measuring anything.
Echo Booster takes a different approach.
Run the benchmark with your optimisations disabled, then run it again with your settings enabled. Echo Booster reports average FPS, 1% lows, frame time, and a per-option breakdown so players can see what their settings are actually doing.
Every option is backed by an actual FiveM/GTA native. Nothing is decorative and nothing appears in the menu unless it actually affects the game.
✔ Pedestrian density
✔ Traffic density
✔ Parked vehicle density
✔ Stop ped scenarios
✔ Draw distance
✔ Occlusion
✔ Shadows
✔ Distant lights
✔ Distant vehicle detail
✔ Decals
✔ Rain & wind
✔ Particle effects
✔ Particle cleanup radius
✔ Broken glass cleanup
✔ Pedestrian damage/blood cleanup
✔ Leftover game cache cleanup
✔ Configurable cleanup interval
Players don't need to understand every individual setting.
Choose a preset and go.
OFF
Returns everything to stock settings.
BALANCED
Cuts unnecessary background workload while keeping the city looking like the city.
PERFORMANCE
Aggressively reduces traffic, shadows and other expensive effects for players who need more FPS.
POTATO
The ultimate performance mode for low-end hardware, with maximum visual sacrifices.
Players can change individual settings after selecting a preset, automatically turning the profile into Custom.
Let Echo Booster manage performance automatically.
Players choose a target FPS and the booster monitors their frame rate using a rolling average. If performance drops, it progressively applies additional optimisation tiers. Once performance recovers, those changes are removed.
The adaptive system uses deliberate delays between changes to prevent constant switching or flickering during normal gameplay.
Tier 0 — Untouched
Above target. No changes.
Tier 1 — Trim
Reduces parked cars and ped scenarios and starts cleanup passes.
Tier 2 — Cut
Reduces traffic and pedestrians, lowers shadows and cuts distant lighting.
Tier 3 — Strip
Turns shadows off, removes particles and pulls in draw distance.
Players can run a proper before-and-after performance test.
Echo Booster measures:
• Average FPS
• 1% lows
• Frame time
• Per-option performance estimates
The actual FPS, lows and frame time are measured directly. The per-option figures are estimates based on the measured total rather than pretending every optimisation can be isolated instantly.
Keep performance visible without cluttering the screen.
Choose between four counter styles:
• Pill
• Bare
• Stat block
• 15-second graph
The counter can also be positioned across nine different screen anchors and doesn't use distracting animations.
Players can have their own performance setup.
Settings are saved to a database using the player's license identifier, allowing their configuration to follow them across different machines and characters. A local copy is also maintained so the menu can load their settings immediately.
Players can also customize:
✔ 7 accent colours
✔ Menu scale from 70–130%
✔ Individual optimisation settings
✔ Presets
✔ FPS counter style and position
✔ Adaptive FPS target
No framework required.
Echo Booster does not depend on:
❌ QBX / QBCore / ESX
❌ Inventory systems
❌ Target systems
❌ UI libraries
Drop it into your server and it runs.
oxmysql is optional.
With database support enabled, player profiles are automatically stored in the Echo Booster database table.
There is no SQL file to import. The resource creates its profile table automatically when it starts.
If you don't want database storage, simply disable it in the configuration. Player settings will then be stored locally using FiveM KVP and will survive server restarts.
Everything is contained inside a readable config.lua.
Configure:
✔ Menu command
✔ Default keybind
✔ Default preset
✔ FPS counter
✔ Adaptive mode and target FPS
✔ Benchmark duration
✔ Server UI accent
✔ Menu scale
✔ Draw distance
✔ Lighting distances
✔ Particle cleanup interval
✔ Database settings
✔ Default optimisation values
✔ Presets
✔ Adaptive tiers
✔ FPS gain estimates
Open the menu with:
F11
or
/fps
No items, jobs or permissions are required. The command and keybind are configurable.
Echo Booster also includes client-side exports for developers who want to control the booster from another resource.
✔ SetOption — Change an individual optimisation
✔ GetOption — Read the current value
✔ ApplyPreset — Apply a preset
✔ IsOpen — Check whether the menu is open
✔ GetFps — Get the player's current FPS
You can also open the menu from another resource using the provided client event.
Echo Booster is built with Svelte + Vite, bundled fonts and no CDN dependencies. The interface is designed to maintain consistent sizing across 1080p, 1440p and 4K displays.
Performance cleanup is also designed to play nicely with other resources by deliberately leaving timecycle modifiers and streaming focus alone, helping avoid breaking interiors, visual effects and other gameplay resources.

Jul 13, 2026The median FiveM server peaked at two players. Not two hundred — two. We measured 31,334 of them. Here is what a server realistically needs to feel alive, and why your slot count is fiction.
Jul 13, 2026Every FiveM server requirements table you have read was invented by a company selling servers. Cfx.re publishes no hardware spec at all. Here is what actually determines whether your server runs well.

Jul 13, 2026Your server boots, you can join by IP, and it is nowhere in the browser. There is a specific list of causes, and one of them — an artifact rule Cfx.re enforces — is the one nobody mentions.
