Police officers may be dispatched to assist an NPC officer with an arrest.
EMS personnel may be dispatched to assist an NPC medic responding to a patient in need.
No one has to request work.

The next call simply comes in, just like another shift on duty.

Respond to an NPC officer requesting assistance with a suspect.
